A select group of students are chosen to create conceptual logos for a rooftop restaurant/bar located on the top floor of a Hilton Garden Inn, currently under construction in downtown Greenville, NC. The namesake 1717 ties to the year a pirate, Stede Bonnet, set sail. The logo should reflect the historical inspiration while maintaining a refined aesthetic to appeal to visitors.

The Final Product
Seeing the final installation of the rooftop restaurant sign is an incredibly proud moment for me as a graphic designer. From concept to completion, this project was an exciting opportunity to craft a visual identity that not only enhances the hotel's modern aesthetic but also becomes a striking feature of the Downtown Greenville skyline.Located on the eighth floor, this rooftop restaurant will offer guests a view of the city, just steps away from ECU, the Greenville Museum of Art, and more. Knowing that my design will be a part of this vibrant space—guiding guests to
